Former WCW, WWE and TNA Superstar Mark Mero underwent heart surgery last week in Cleveland, Ohio. Mero had his aorta replaced and also had a new heart valve installed. Mero’s heart reportedly had to be stopped for 40-minutes while the procedure took place. In his post wrestling career, Mero has been working as a motivational speaker, talking with youth groups, schools and children’s organizations about the dangers of drugs.
