Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Mickie James appeared in the 2022 Women’s WWE Royal Rumble match on Saturday night and she brought her Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship with her.
Following the show, James was interviewed backstage and noted that while she is disappointed she didn’t win, she is happy that she made history and was proud to come out to the ring as Hardcore Country Mickie James. Mickie said,
“We broke down one of the biggest ceilings you’ve ever seen, and we did it for the ladies.”
