Fightful Select reported today that AEW has re-signed Miro to a four-year extension. He will be under contract until at least the start of 2026. He actually agreed to the deal last year, but didn’t sign it for a little while after that.
Miro did state during an appearance on the Kurt Angle Show that he re-signed, but the story went under the radar.
Per the report, Miro’s original AEW deal would have been set to expire in the spring of 2022.
After a run as the TNT Champion, he last wrestled in November at Full Gear where he lost to Bryan Danielson in a AEW Title Eliminator tournament match where he was a replacement wrestler. He then dealt with a hamstring injury, but has been cleared to wrestle.
