CM Punk was left in a pool of his own blood during last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
During an in-ring segment, Punk spoke about his own career as well as MJF, and when he went to shake his rival’s hand, MJF instead hugged the former WWE World Champion.
This was a ruse from MJF, who delivered a low blow and used the Dynamite Diamond ring to bust open Punk.
MJF used a dog collar provided by the Pinnacle to hang Punk on the ropes until Darby Allin, Sting, and Sammy Guevara came out for the save.
Punk and MJF will face off this Sunday at AEW Revolution in a Dog Collar match.
