Former WWE Superstar Mustafa Ali has no problem with Trick Williams replacing him at the upcoming NXT No Mercy pay-per-view event.
Prior to his release, Ali had been scheduled to challenge NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio, a title shot that Williams earned during this week’s episode of WWE NXT.
In a tweet, Ali made it clear that he is pleased for Williams who Ali believes deserves a title opportunity.
NXT No Mercy 2023 will take place on September 30, 2023, from the Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California.
