During this week’s episode of SmackDown, a new WWE Intercontinental Champion was crowned, as Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Apollo Crews to capture the championship. Nakamura picked up the win after he hit an Exploder suplex and Kinshasa on Crews.
The win marks Nakamura’s second run with the Intercontinental championship. Crews’ run ends at 125 days.
