WWE will hold talent tryouts during the week of SummerSlam in Las Vegas.
Dave Meltzer had some more details in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter about what WWE will be looking for in these talents.
It was previously reported that the company wants younger wrestlers. The new report states WWE wants those in their early 20s with 27 being the cutoff age.
WWE is looking for male wrestlers around 6’0″ and at least 220 pounds. This is only a general rule. WWE is also placing a heavy emphasis on hiring more young African-Americans and Hispanic/Latin people in the US.
Of course, there are always exceptions.
