Post Wrestling reported today that former WWE NXT wrestler Chris Hero was backstage at the ROH Best in the World pay-per-view in Baltimore, Maryland this past Sunday night.
The belief is he worked as an agent for the show. There’s no word yet on whether he’ll be working for the promotion going forward.
ROH COO Joe Koff issued the following statement: “Chris was there and is always home at Ring of Honor.”
After returning to WWE for his second stint in NXT, he was released in April 2020 because of budget cuts.
