Reports of ‘beef’ between nZo and Joey Janela were greatly exaggerated according to the former, despite the pair nearly having an actual fight.
During a recent signing for “K&S WrestleFest,” nZo was asked about the issues he once had with Janela. He said,
“There was never a beef, guys. If you walk up to me and you said you wanna’ fight, I put my hands up, that’s all. I don’t care who you are. If I feel threatened, I’m gonna put my hands up.”
While nZo believes that there was not any beef between the two, Janela has claimed his issues with the former Superstar affected his reputation in AEW
