Paige has been teasing some big news for her on Twitter.
She wrote: “I get told that my glory days are over w/ my career & that I’m a “slut” coz of the crap that got released about me. Just know again. Ppl make mistakes when they’re young. I’m not that person. Also my glory days are far from over. I have a whole a lot of career left in me. 2020 will be a good year for me.”
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson has speculated that she could make an appearance in the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble. Keep in mind that this is far from confirmed.
The belief is that Paige’s career is over as in-ring performer under the WWE banner. She will not be cleared to return to the ring after her most recent in-ring injury.
Her neck injury happened in 2018 at a live event in Long Island.
Paige took a hard kick to the back from Sasha Banks that she wasn’t ready for and it stunned her. WWE pulled her from the ring and set up further testing that led to being forced to retire.
