If you did not tune into the most recent episode of the WWE Network show, 205 Live, Smackdown Live & NXT commentator Tom Phillips, was not present. Instead, sitting next to Corey Graves was NXT’s backstage interviewer, Vic Joseph.
According to Cageside Seats, the reason for Phillips being taken off of 205 Live is simply due to WWE wanting him to focus more on his other duties in the company. Also, WWE is very high on Vic Joseph as he has earned a spot on the WWE Main Event
commentary team & now making his stride onto 205 Live.
