Former WWE Superstar Shane Thorne has said that company Chairman Vince McMahon once believed he was Austin Theory.
Thorne was released in November 2021 after competing in Retribution under the name Slapjack.
After McMahon introduced Theory as a future WWE Champion at WrestleMania (Night Two), Theory discussed being mistaken for the 24-year-old Superstar.
