Report – Mauro Ranallo Said to Be in “Rough Shape”

As we previously reported here on eWn, Mauro Ranallo missed the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event on Sunday after Corey Graves posted a series of tweets, basically telling him to stop talking during NXT Takeover: WarGames and let the other announcers speak instead.

During Survivor Series, Michael Cole noted that Ranallo had “blown his voice out.” Of course, that was a cover. During his podcast, Graves apologized for what he said. For what it’s worth, that apology was “forced” upon him by WWE officials and Graves has still not deleted his original tweets.

During the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Ranallo is still in “rough shape” after the incident. Several people close to Ranallo have noted that he hasn’t been in a “good place” over the last few days and his condition is a “day by day” thing.

WWE reached out to his manager, Frank Shamrock, who told them that Ranallo will be back when he’s able to.

Ranallo suffers from depression and bi-polar disorder, which is a very serious mental health issue that a lot of people won’t understand unless they have or do suffer from it.
