According to a report from Fightful, Michael Elgin is not expected to return to New Japan Pro Wrestling as there are issues between him and Tama Tonga. According to sources in Impact Wrestling, Elgin says he feels Tonga hitting him with a chair in the G1 is what tore his bicep. Elgin also claims Tonga is only getting a push because of his adopted father, Haku.
New Japan Pro Wrestling officials claim Elgin was fired from the company.
We reported last year here on eWn that Elgin was released from Impact Wrestling after allegations against him were made during the #SpeakingOut movement. He denied those claims.
