Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that former WWE Universal Champion Goldberg was in talks with New Japan Pro Wrestling about coming in for big shows.
However, him appearing for the promotion isn’t likely now as Goldberg is going into the WWE Hall of Fame, and that usually requires signing a short-term deal.
