As many of you know by now, indie wrestler Nick Wayne will be able to join the AEW roster when he turns 18 years old and graduates high school.
According to a report from Fightful Select, AEW officials are already in the process of coming up with ideas for Wayne. The report notes that tentative creative plans for Wayne began “months ago.”
Wayne has been under contract with All Elite Wrestling since he was just 16 years old. With that being said, the contract doesn’t become official until his 18th birthday. Wayne’s birthday is coming up in mid-July, at which time he’ll be making his official AEW debut.
