According to a report from WON’s Dave Meltzer, WWE had originally planned for Roman Reigns to face Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania 35. Of course, this was prior to Reigns’ shocking announcement that his leukemia had returned and he was forced to take a hiatus.
There is currently no word on who, if anyone, Ambrose will face at the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event now.
As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, Ambrose will be leaving WWE when his contract expires in April.
