Ric Flair: Tony Khan Should Let Someone Else Book AEW

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has suggested that Tony Khan should let somebody else take the reins as Head of AEW’s Creative division.

Since the company was founded in 2019, Khan (also the AEW President) has served as Head of Creative, with some of his decisions receiving backlash from fans.

Speaking on his “To Be the Man” podcast, Flair suggested that Khan would better manage his time if he let someone else make the creative decisions. He said,

“I would continue to own the company, but I would let somebody fresh book it. He books and runs it, but he’s also very vested personally in football which he takes a lot of pride in, and the Jaguars are getting better, which I’m really happy for them. They will probably be in the playoffs next year. So what I’m saying is Tony has to divide his time and his passion between two things.”

Flair was rumored to be joining AEW in 2021, but the infamous Dark Side of the Ring

episode that focused on the 2002 Plane Ride from Hell ended any plans for Flair to be All-Elite.
