Former WWE play-by-play analyst Mauro Ranallo made his Impact Wrestling debut at Rebellion to call the “Title vs. Title” match featuring AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and then-Impact World Champion Rich Swann.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Swann had his bell rung at one point in the match and was “out of it” after a spin kick. Also, he was said to be “dead weight” in the final minutes and Omega had to “take over.”
Omega went over to win the Impact World Title.
