Road Dogg On Being “Over The Hill” For 2014 WWE Return

WWE Hall of Famer ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James enjoyed his 2014 return to the ring, despite being well aware that his best years were behind him.

James reunited with Billy Gunn in early 2014 for a run that would see the New Age Outlaws win the WWE Tag Team Championships for the first time in over a decade.

On a recent edition of his “Oh You Didn’t Know” podcast, James admitted that he was “over the hill” at the time, but had fond memories of this run. He said,

“It was fun and I felt like I was better at what I was doing because I felt like I was smarter at it.”

The Outlaws held the titles for 37 days before losing the gold to The Usos in March 2014. They would also lose a six-man tag at WrestleMania XXX.
