Road Dogg Says Cody Rhodes’ Evolution In WWE Has Been “Super Cool”

“Road Dogg” Jesse James has been impressed by how far Cody Rhodes has come as a WWE Superstar since his main roster debut in 2007.

During Rhodes’ first run, the second-generation star held the Intercontinental and Tag Team titles and has been one of WWE’s top names since his April 2022 return.

On a recent edition of his “Oh You Didn’t Know” podcast, James said that Rhodes’ development has been “super cool” to watch. He added,

“He’s put in the work, he’s done all of the work, you know what I mean? You want to learn everybody’s job and that’s what he’s done.

“Look, you can be a student of the wrestling game, and not understand the business aspect of it and therefore not capitalize fully on your run or your career. Cody has kind of run-up that first batch, second, he’s been up to them all and he’s kind of learned along the way so good for him, man.”

Rhodes will face Damian Priest at WWE Crown Jewel 2023. The show will take place on November 4, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
