Road Dogg Says Wrestlers Should Seek A “Second Opinion”

Constructive criticism is synonymous with improvement and no one knows it better than WWE Hall of Famer Brian James aka Road Dogg.

On the latest episode of his ‘Oh… You Didn’t Know’ podcast, Dogg advised wrestlers to seek second opinions about their own work in order to keep themselves grounded about their actual skills and abilities. He said,

“I would suggest to wrestlers today not [to] be sure of yourselves and get a second opinion. If you don’t have somebody to shoot holes in your craft, you think you’re awesome all the time.”

Dogg also noted that no single individual should take all the credit for a particular era of wrestling as it takes a collective effort to create such special moments. He continued,

“I don’t think it’s fair for anybody, and I mean anybody, anybody, to take credit for what was done during this time in wrestling or that time in wrestling. Man, there’s so many entities involved in creating that special moment … It’s such a team effort. It literally takes a village.”
