Per a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, it’s very possible that Roman Reigns misses out on the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view (PPV) event next month. Reigns contracted the mumps which kept him out of last night’s Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) main event reunion with The Shield and was instead replaced by Kurt Angle.
Reigns illness isn’t expected to hold him out of action for very long, however, it’s possible WWE keeps him off of programming until after Survivor Series has wrapped up for storyline purposes. He is scheduled to get cleared just prior to the event but it’s unlikely he is thrown into a match at the last second. It’s unclear if WWE plans to keep The Shield reunion angle going upon his return.
