UPDATE: Drew McIntyre reportedly had to be walked to the back by a WWE referee after his match with Dean Ambrose. With that being said, McIntyre is said to be fine, and what happened to him was just a “close call.”
ORIGINAL: According to several fan reports, WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose may have been injured at Saturday night’s WWE live event in Tupelo. Several fans noted that the referee threw up the X sign after Ambrose took a Claymore kick.
Ambrose is reportedly indeed injured, but WWE has not yet issued any sort of confirmation or announcement on Ambrose suffering an injury.
Ambrose is set to leave WWE when his current contract expires in April of this year.
