Samoa Joe confirmed that he injured his knee during a Live Event match with John Cena. Joe claims that he will likely be out only 4-6 weeks. Either way, WWE expects him to miss the No Mercy PPV event. Fan reports from the Live Event suggest that there were no problems in the match as Joe was able to finish on his own power, according to plan.

As many fans noted, Braun Strowman did not appear on RAW this past week. Dave Meltzer speculated that the reason for this was that WWE wants to keep Strowman and Lesnar’s physical confrontations to a minimum before No Mercy. Braun will be on RAW next week, but Lesnar is not scheduled.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed on his new Instagram video that he donated $25K to the survivors and city of Houston, TX after the storm. He strongly encourages others to do so to and posted this message- “Stay strong Houston, and hold onto faith. Me and my family know what you’re going thru. We survived the eye of Andrew and became stronger- so will you. All of my love and strength.”
