AEW’s Saraya has reacted to the return of her Twitter verification despite not subscribing to Twitter Blue.
Earlier this week, Elon Musk’s latest policy on Twitter removed verification for all users, with those who wished to remain verified having to pay an $8 monthly fee.
Several names have since been re-verified without paying for the service, and in a tweet, Saraya said she’s embarrassed that people may think she paid.
Critics of the new Twitter Blue policy have stated that given that any account can now be verified for $8 a month, this policy is a gift for scammers who wish to look genuine.
