During a recent interview with ESPN, WWE women’s wrestler Sonya Deville discussed her main roster call-up and revealed when she found out she was headed to the RAW brand. Deville said,
“As the days unfolded, you hear rumors and you hear things flying around…You don’t wanna believe anything until it’s set in stone, because it’s the entertainment industry at the end of the day and things change. Come Monday, around 3:00, 3:30, I found out what I was doing (and) I think I’m still in disbelief; I don’t know if it’s really set in yet.”
Deville also said during the ESPN interview that she is happy to be able to continue working with her “best friend” Mandy Rose. The two started together in WWE as part of the “Tough Enough” reality series two and a half years ago.
As seen on RAW, Deville is being paired up with Paige and Mandy Rose as a group called “Absolution.”
