As reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet a few weeks ago, WWE were in talks again with their former WWE United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin. Recently, WWE released a playlist of Benjamin’s “most impressive/jaw dropping feats” but before that wording, the caption says: “before Benjamin returns to SmackDown Live” which has led to speculation that the “Gold Standard” will be returning to the company.
