As seen during Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown! Live broadcast, Dolph Ziggler cut a promo in the ring and then put his United Titles title on the ground and left the ring. According to sources, WWE is planning a long-term storyline for Ziggler. While he’s not expected to appear at the SmackDown! Live TV tapings, he will be appearing at SmackDown! Live brand live events (house shows).
The company will be keeping Ziggler off TV for the foreseeable future to sell the angle. As of this writing, there is no word on where the storyline is going.
