Sting Teases That He’s Had His Final Match In The Country Of Japan

AEW wrestler Sting may have had his final match ever in the country of Japan, according to recent comments from The Icon himself.

At last night’s “Great Muta Final Bye-Bye” event, Sting, Darby Allin and Muta emerged victorious in the main event, in the final match for Keiji Muto’s ‘Great Muta’ character.

In a post-show press conference, Sting alluded to this being his final time competing in Japan. He said,

“Yeah, maybe bye-bye for Sting in Japan.”

Sting’s relationship with Japan would begin in 1989 when he would be part of a brief tour with All Japan Pro Wrestling.

The Icon would make several appearances in the nation throughout his career, thanks in part to the WCW/NJPW working relationship during the 1990s.
