As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Kota Ibushi has been very open about his ongoing issues with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Most recently, NJPW fined Ibushi and a staff member he had issues with. While the situation had calmed down over the past month or so, Ibushi has not returned to the company.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, many of the talent in New Japan don’t believe that Ibushi will be returning to the company.
Ibushi has said in numerous interviews that he’s interested in joining AEW.
