Last night on SmackDown Live, Bayley made her blue brand debut.
She interrupted a confrontation between Becky Lynch and the other female Monday Night Raw import, Ember Moon.
Bayley was not well-received by the Montreal crowd. In what was likely unfamiliar territory for her, she was booed very audibly by the crowd, and the jeers seemed to get louder when she mentioned her former tag team with Sasha Banks.
According to the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Meltzer and Garrett Gonzalez, one of the reasons for the major negative reaction by Banks and Bayley at WrestleMania was not only because they were being told they were losing the Tag Team Championships but that they wouldn’t even be contesting for them anymore because the team would be splitting up.
Dave also says that he heard reports that the booing for Bayley was louder in person than it was on TV, and a majority of that was because of her interrupting the potential Ember Moon/Becky Lynch feud setup.
