PWInsider is reporting that WWE has signed top European indie wrestler WALTER. Although not confirmed, he could start training at the WWE Performance Center as early as January 2019.
It was added that WALTER’s WWE signing is reportedly what led to him dropping the PWG Heavyweight Title to Jeff Cobb last month. PWG officials also wanted to bring WALTER back for a farewell appearance in December but his WWE deal prevented that from happening.
