Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that a trial date has been set for the lawsuit between Vince McMahon and former XFL commissioner Oliver Luck as it will happen on October 8.
It’s possible it may be settled before then.
Luck is suing McMahon for the $23.8 million he hasn’t been paid from his $35 million contract due to him being fired early before the league shut down.
On the flip side, McMahon is countersuing Luck for abandoning his job during the pandemic, as well as signing Antonio Callaway, as it went against McMahon wanting a “high caliber of character” for his players.
