Tyler Bate has captured the NXT UK Championship, weeks after the title win was spoiled by WWE.
During the most recent episode of NXT UK, Bate defeated his former Mustache Mountain tag team partner Trent Seven in the finals of a tournament to crown a new champion.
The title had been vacated due to Ilja Dragunov suffering an injury.
Bate’s win comes weeks after he appeared on the August 16th episode of WWE NXT Heatwave as champion, confronting NXT Champion Bron Breakker.
The two will unify the NXT and NXT UK Championships this Sunday at World’s Collide.
