Cody Rhodes has been feuding with Brock Lesnar since coming out of WWE WrestleMania 39, where Rhodes beat Lesnar at Backlash 2023 while Lesnar scored a win over Rhodes at Night of Champions 2023.
While speaking on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE is planning to hold off on doing the third match until SummerSlam.
The WWE SummerSlam 2023 pay-per-view event takes place on August 5th from Ford Field in Detroit, MI.
