As previously reported here on eWn, WWE Superstar Tommaso Ciampa recently underwent surgery on his hip.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Ciampa had been dealing with the injury for close to a year before finally scheduling the operation. As of now, there is no word on when Ciampa will be cleared to return to the ring.
In other news, WWE has greenlit a second season of its popular Peacock series This Is Awesome. Fightful Select reports that footage was filmed recently for an upcoming episode on video games. As of this writing, no date has been announced for the series’ return.
