Former WWE Superstar Velveteen Dream has said he would like to return to the company following accusations of sexual misconduct.
Dream, also known as Patrick Clark, was a favorite on 2015’s Tough Enough and captured the NXT North American Championship in 2019.
In April 2020, Clark was accused of sending indecent images to underage boys on Instagram after a Reddit user posted screenshots of what appeared to be a naked Clark on the subreddit r/SquaredCircle.
Clark has denied any claims of wrongdoing.
The former Superstar was investigated by WWE after a second accusation of sending explicit photos to minors came out but said that they found no evidence of wrongdoing.
On Instagram, Clark made his intentions to return to WWE clear:
Despite trashy and unsavory allegations against me that I have beat! I’d still like to have a career with n the E. @wwenxt
I was never guilty and I got a hell of a lot of talent. I’m only 26. LFG
IM READY TO GO THE SHOW WHAT IT SHOULD BE.
At this time, nobody from WWE has publicly responded to his statement.
