John Cena will be reprising his role in the sequel to the Will Ferrell/Mark Wahlberg comedy Daddy’s Home. He did a cameo in the final scene of the original film. A new trailer for Daddy’s Home 2 has been released. Here is the synopsis for the movie:
“Daddy’s Home 2, father Brad (Will Ferrell) and step-father Dusty (Mark Wahlberg), who feuded in the first film, are now working together to give their kids the perfect Christmas. When Dusty’s Dad (Mel Gibson, in his first studio acting gig in years) and Brad’s Dad (John Lithgow) arrive, family conflicts rise to the surface. John Cena’s character arrives and shifts the macho dynamics as Dusty faces the challenges of being a stepfather in the face of a more ripped rival.”
