NJPW announced on Friday that Kazuchika Okada will face Shingo Takagi at their June 7th event to crown a new IWGP Heavyweight Champion. As previously reported here on eWn, the title was recently vacated by Will Opreay after he suffered a neck injury.
There will also be an IWGP June Heavyweight Championship match between El Desperado and Yoh on the same show. Kota Ibushi vs. Jeff Cobb has also been confirmed.
