Fightful Select reports that prior to signing with Tony Khan’s AEW, Ruby Soho garnered interest from another promotion. Following her release from WWE in June of 2021, Soho caught the attention of W.O.W. – Women of Wrestling.
According to the report, WOW sent out feelers to Soho after her release but was told that she wasn’t accepting bookings. This led the promotion to believe that she had signed with AEW. That proved to be true, as Soho did go on to sign with All Elite Wrestling. Soho debuted at All Out 2021 as the Joker in their Casino Battle Royale, receiving a future title shot.
It is also reported that W.O.W. reached out to the IInspiration (formerly the IIconics of WWE). However, the duo ended up signing with Impact Wrestling.
