Xavier Woods vs. Finn Balor in the King of the Ring Tournament Finals was booked at this year’s WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
They did some technical wrestling to start things off. Balor fought him with a head kick for 2 before going to a headlock. Woods fought out of it and hit a drop kick to the back of Balor. Balor fought back and hit a slingblade.
Woods caught him with a superkick for 2. Woods with a series of chops then they exchanged strikes. Balor with a head kick. Balor with series of elbows before Woods rolled him up for 2. Balor caught him with a kick then went to the top rope, but Woods stopped him. Woods hit a superplex. Balor with the sling blade and drop kick in the corner. Woods fought back and hit an elbow drop off the top rope for the win.
