WWE hasn’t held a draft since 2016. Since then, they’ve changed up their rosters with the WWE Superstar Shake-Ups each year. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is heavily considering another draft to build permanent rosters for RAW and SmackDown Live.
Originally, the report notes they were told there wouldn’t be major changes. However, everything is being kept quiet and both FOX and USA Network will be the first to know when the concept is decided.
