As seen during last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Murphy made his return to TV, appearing at ringside during Seth Rollins’ return promo.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the storyline between Murphy and Aalyah has been dropped. According to reports, there wasn’t any real reason or behind-the-scenes story for the angle being dropped. WWE simply didn’t know what to do with the storyline and changed course.
