Former WWE World Champion to Compete in Fastlane Kickoff Match

Last night on SmackDown, it was announced that Rey Mysterio will face Andrade during the WWE Fastlane Kickoff.
These two competitors have been embroiled in a rivalry for the majority of 2019, leading to some classic matchups on SmackDown.
Most recently, they competed in a Fatal 4-Way match for the United States Championship which was won by Samoa Joe.
Rey Mysterio has said publicly he enjoys the in-ring chemistry he shares with Andrade and even went so far as to note that Superstars have compared it to the chemistry he once shared with Eddie Guerrero.
The kickoff show will take place one hour before WWE Fastlane this Sunday and this should be a marvelous way to kick things off.
The next chapter in the epic rivalry between Rey Mysterio and Andrade will be written this Sunday, when the two Superstars clash during the WWE Fastlane Kickoff.
Mysterio and Andrade wowed the WWE Universe with a series of action-packed battles earlier this year, including an absolutely thrilling 2-out-of-3 Falls Match on SmackDown LIVE. Andrade went so far as to say his main focus is ending the legend of Mysterio.
Matters remained unsettled between the two as they both tried to answer open challenges for the United States Championship. In Triple Threat and Fatal 4-Way Matches for the star-spangled title, tensions were clearly high between the two rivals.
That may have worked to their detriment, as their past opponents used their fixation with each other to their advantage to walk out with the title.
This Sunday, there won’t be anyone else in the ring to distract them. Will Mysterio illustrate why he is one of the greatest, or will Andrade fulfill his promise to end the legend of The Master of the 619?
