WWE In Talks To Do Major Stadium Show In Australia

WWE is looking to do another stadium show outside of the United States. WWE hosted Clash At The Castle last year in the UK, went to Canada for Elimination Chamber in February, will hold Money in the Bank this summer in the UK, and just announced the company is slated to go to Puerto Rico for Backlash.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE is in talks to host a major show in Western Australia.

“The state government of Western Australia, is negotiating with WWE to run a major stadium show. This would be similar to when the city of Melbourne made a deal with WWE twice to run stadium shows, one of which was a PPV show. The likely city would be Perth, which recently hosted a UFC show and many of the UFC shows outside the U.S. are basically local governments bringing in UFC for tourism or other reasons

,” Meltzer wrote.
