This week’s episode of WWE NXT closed out with Grayson Waller taking over the show and sending a message to Shawn Michaels.
Waller, who has been having friction with Michaels since losing to Bron Breakker at NXT Vengeance Day, took inspiration from D-Generation X. As Breakker celebrated his successful NXT Title defense against Jinder Mahal, the screen switched to the Peacock interface, and NXT Stand & Deliver was selected. The cameras then cut to the back where Waller was shown to have hijacked the production space, and the heel Superstar boasted of taking over the NXT broadcast.
Waller then announced a Grayson Waller Effect segment for NXT Roadblock in two weeks’ time featuring Michaels. You can check out the clip below:
Nikkita Lyons was featured in a backstage interview segment with McKenzie Mitchell this week on WWE NXT. Lyons revealed that her recovery from ACL surgery will keep her on the shelf for approximately one year (roughly 11 to 12 months), although she is aiming to return sooner than the given timetable. Lyons was written off of TV with a parking lot assault this past January.
