Jinder Mahal made his surprise return to the black-and-gold brand, and scored a victory over Julius Creed on Tuesday night’s New Year’s Evil themed episode of WWE NXT.
The Creed Brothers hit the ring to face Indus Sher, only for Sanga to inform them that Veer wasn’t present for the match. The distraction allowed Mahal to blindside Brutus and Julius, as Sanga helped the former WWE Champion decimate the Creed Brothers. Following the attack, Mahal declared that while Indus Sher is about respect, he isn’t.
Mahal and Julius later collided in singles action. The Modern Day Maharaja nailed his opponent with the Khallas for the win.
