Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the idea behind WWE holding tryouts in Germany next month is due to the company possibly launching another global NXT brand. This time it would be in Germany.
According to the report, if this plan goes through then WWE wants to associate their Germany brand with the wXw promotion in Germany in the same way that the PROGRESS Wrestling promotion has a relationship with WWE NXT UK.
