After MITB went off of the air on the WWE Network, Dave Meltzer appeared on The LAW: Live Audio Wrestling and speculated that; Smackdown Live GM, Daniel Bryan & Commissioner Shane McMahon’s addressing of the situation, will include an announcement regarding a rematch from the PPV. WWE officials are reportedly hoping that this will provide a huge ratings boost.
